Managed Services
Cisco Managed Network Services
Engineering-led managed services for Cisco, Meraki and multi-vendor networks, from an audited Cisco Powered provider.
Why IPTel
Managed by the Engineers Who Design Your Network
IPTel's managed services are built on the same engineering team that delivers our consulting, design and integration work. When you choose IPTel, you get senior network and security engineers, not a generalist help desk.
We're an audited Cisco Powered Managed Services provider with five Cisco Powered Services. Every year Cisco independently audits our tools, processes, engineering practice and customer outcomes against its published standards.
We work in a co-managed model. You keep full administrative access to your own environment for the life of the agreement, and both teams work from the same operational picture.

Adoption and lifecycle
Enablement
For teams that run their own operations. We drive licence and feature adoption, training and lifecycle planning, with quarterly reporting. Monitoring and incident response aren't included.
Business hours
Essential
Entry-level managed infrastructure. Monitoring and incident response during business hours, advisory firmware guidance, quarterly reporting and access to our shared engineering pool.
Extended business hours
Advanced
Extended hours cover, security-aware operations, monthly reporting, a monthly allowance of simple changes, enhanced observability through Highlight and a shared Customer Success Manager.
24x7x365
Critical
For mission-critical and operational technology environments. 24x7 incident response, a named Level 3 engineer, a named Customer Success Manager, executive reporting and risk-based patching.
How We Work
A Service Built on Transparency
Structured Transition
Every engagement starts with discovery, tooling, a risk register and a remediation plan, then knowledge transfer and formal operational acceptance. Most transitions take four to twelve weeks.
Real-Time Visibility
Highlight gives you a live dashboard of device health, performance and open incidents across your sites. ThousandEyes can be added for internet, cloud and SaaS path visibility.
One Customer Portal
Log and track requests, see planned changes and maintenance windows, and find your reports and root-cause analyses in one place.
Lifecycle Under Control
We track software currency and end-of-life milestones, test new releases before they reach production and help you plan refreshes before they become risks.
Regular Service Reviews
Quarterly or monthly reviews, depending on your tier, cover performance, incidents, changes, capacity and your technology roadmap.
Direct Line to Cisco
Our engineers work with direct relationships into Cisco engineering and Cisco TAC, backed by Cisco Preferred Partner status.
Cisco Managed Services: Common Questions
What does a Cisco managed services partner do?
A Cisco managed services partner monitors, maintains and supports your Cisco and Meraki network for you. That covers proactive monitoring, incident response, firmware and patching, configuration changes, licence management and reporting, so your team can focus on the business rather than keeping the network running.
What does Cisco Powered mean?
Cisco Powered is Cisco's program for managed services built on Cisco technology. Providers are independently audited every year against Cisco's published requirements for tools, processes, engineering practice and customer outcomes. IPTel is an audited Cisco Powered Managed Services provider.
What are the benefits of managed network services?
You get senior engineers watching the network around the clock, faster fixes when something goes wrong, predictable monthly costs, and fewer surprises from expired support, outdated firmware or unpatched security issues. Many customers also use managed services to cover skills gaps or leave and turnover in their own IT team.
Can we keep access to our own network?
Yes. Our co-managed option lets your team keep full access and make their own changes, while IPTel handles monitoring, escalation and the work you would rather hand over.
Do you only manage Cisco equipment?
Cisco and Meraki are our core, but we also manage common non-Cisco switching, Wi-Fi, WAN edge and firewall platforms alongside them, so you can deal with one provider for the whole network.
